Tip #3: Green Eyes

If you get charged for excess baggage at check-in and you're actually empty-handed, it's 'eye' time you did something about it.

Treat your eye bags with tea bags.

Green Tea is yet another versatile foodstuff [see Tip #2] in that not only can you ingest it you can use it for topical purposes. Green Tea has wonderful internal anti-inflammatory properties that work externally as well...as long as the tea bag is cold!

So remember to store some in the fridge... and if you don't use green tea bags, keep the tea leaves. If you don't drink green tea... Rethink that.

Green Tea is "thought to contribute to improvements in diseases often characterized by inflammation, such as colitis and arthritis. Green tea may also play a role in fighting cancer and heart disease".
This is primarily because of a certain type of polyphenol found in Green Tea called Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). It's a poly-phenomonal.

How to: place COLD tea bags on your eyes, lie down and chill. For as long or short a time as you feel neccessary.
There are many other ways to treat eyebags, this is one of the most effective and chemical-free ways.

You may also need to address why you have bags under your eyes. Could be hereditary, could be because of water retention, lack of sleep, sinusitis, allergies, many other reasons... Green Tea may help you inside and out.

I actually do this Dusk... I use green tea bags whenever my eyes are puffy. :-)

Great tip! I will certainly do this. I have slight under eye circles (don't most people, though? I heard that people with South Asian skin tones naturally have darker under-eye areas) and usually just cover them up with concealer. But I suppose I should try 'natural' remedies like the ones you are suggesting!
