I know that I'm not a textbook blogger and perhaps I need to rethink the whole purpose of my blog.
My favourite blogs all have such a wide variety of posts and my blog is pretty much just about me.

But what is a textbook blog? The best thing about blogging is the huge variety of blogs out there, I follow you because you're gorgeous, funny, witty, cheeky, intelligent and supportive, don't change a thing. xxx
I love your blog just the way it is. I come back because I love your photos and your personality- you have more than enough character to hold the blog up. It's great as is- only change it if YOU want to, not because other people tell you to. I think you do an amazing job, and blogs don't have to be cookie cutter- I admire a wide range of blogs.

There is no such thing as a textbook blog and plenty of people are blogging with just photos of themselves so it's perfectly acceptable blogging behaviour! I try to avoid facebook myself - evil company - especially since all that facial recognition software debacle they put in without telling their users recently.

Well, it's not a crime if a blog that you created consists mostly of pictures of you. I think people are tired of seeing the same posts over and over on the internet with celebrities or fashion shows, so, a personal style blog is just what they looking for. And I also noticed on my blog, that the posts that generate a considerable amount of readers feedback are outfit posts.
I say a Facebook page couldn't hurt.

I don't know what others come here for. so I'll talk for myself. I come here for your pics, to see YOU and what/how you wear (that's pretty much interesting), your witty talks that keeps me engaged until I reach the end of the page.
What a blogger chooses to showcase in his/her blog is completely a personal choice and that shouldn't be influenced by what others think.
If you like to write about yourself, your opinions, your life that's completely your choice. Your readers come here to read/know/see you. You gotta be just you.. that's what makes you Dusk. Right?
