"Australians all let us rejoice, For we are young and free;
We've golden soil and wealth for toil, Our home is girt by sea;
Our land abounds in Nature's gifts, Of beauty rich and rare;
In history's page, let every stage, Advance Australia fair!
In joyful strains then let us sing, Advance Australia fair!"
We 'celebrated' Australia Day by eating Yum Cha in Chinatown then wondering around the Fish Markets and then boatyards... it was a gorgeous day and we in Sydney town have been far too deprived of summery days.
I have only just realised (and it's Feb now, this is a backdated post) that I'm wearing yellow and (carrying) a green... or green-ish bag. The national colours are Green and Gold (yellow)!! I swear this was not on purpose but I always seem to dress thematically sub conciously.
...maybe that's why people were giving me weird looks all day... or maye because...people are just weird. I feel I was dressed fairly conservatively [for me] but the way I was being looked at, you'd think I was wearing a neon yellow flag.
Peope are strange but humanity is wonderful.

Welcome back, Dusk! Those yellow pants rock my world! x
Eek! I almost missed this post because it was backdated, but I'm so glad I found it! You look as fabulous as ever. I really don't understand why people stare or look at you strangely - I think I'm quite conservatively dressed most of the time, and still can't avoid the stares! So strange.
You look absolutely amazing and I'm sooo glad you're blogging again!
Perfect out for a day out. I love the white/off white short with gold necklace AND yellow pants!! Your style is definitely not for the weak hearted Dusk.. I love it. You gave me a reason to take out my yellow pants. . wish I could steal that necklace from your neck :-P
