Reverse Vanity

People have a funny relationship with mirrors. Funny because, come on now, that is you. You know? You? I love mirrors. For all the reasons that come to mind and really, more that don't.

I noticed this again today. [at my Bikram Yoga class this afternoon. You can always tell the newbies. They're thrown by this huge mirror in front of them and they always shuffle towards the 'back'. In Bikram, there is no back. :) That was a yogi pun...]
Sometimes, the refusal to look at self isn't about lack of confidence. Sometimes it's...'Reverse Vanity': To deliberately not look at self reflection for fear of what others may think.
