Each photoshoot gets better and better! You look like a wood nymph, or better yet, queen of the forest... perched on a tree, surveying her land.

Gorgeous, earthy outfit, and (as usual) I want every piece you are wearing!

Namaste, you gorgeous thing!
I love that dress-worn-as-a-cardi so much that I may jump on a plane and steal it from you.
Fabulous outfit as always, put together in a truly chic and unique style.

Hello lovelies!
...I've added to this post... the set-up shots for the first pic. I'm a bit of a show-off when it comes to my upper body strength ("noh! Really?")...so of course I had to prove that it's me, always, all me.
...sigh....and here I thought I had nothing to prove...;)... seriously and honestly, sometimes I amaze myself. the human body is such an incredible and powerful instrument. I'm nowhere near as good as professional polenastics and aerial performers and my teachers are AMAZING!

So are my boys! Males have a different structure, even though my boys are not trained in the things I am trained in, they can execute moves that took me ages to learn, by just looking at what I do! they can hang their bodies sideways just by wrapping one arm around a rope!
...my upper body strength is due to Flamenco, Taiko, the above 2 things, boxing and carrying lots of kids!! They're all older now and they carry me!!

I broke my right wrist and left fingers last year in a snowskiing accident. My ego was hurt the most because I'm an excellent skiier! BUT... I will never ever take my body for granted again. I was in a cast for 3 months and I could not do anything.

This is why I LOVE my body. I'm grateful for all it lets me do. I don't waste time worrying about "faults". But that's another post...

*******

@ Vintage Vixen - actually hon, I've had this piece for a while now so am now going to sell it in my eBay store.

@ Sonali - Tarzan was sitting nearby looking at the sunset and timing how long I could hold the 'hang'.

@ Tuesday - hello gorgeous! I practise Bikram Yoga 4 times a week but. No, no photoshop, never that, I'm too much of a snob about my strength to do that! Besides, what if I meet up with you all and you say; "well come on, show us"!

@ anonymASH! - hello my lovely! I have to put a link to your photography page... and of course you'd love these trees! This area is similar to an area you have taken tree pics in.

Thank you again lovelies! I am always so happy to read your comments. I appreciate the time you took out of your day to write your thoughts down. ♥

Whoa, surreal. It's like you're a piratey wood nymph!

Gorgeous pics as always. It's amazing how you manage to outdo yourself post after post. If I had a forest handy I'd definitely do a "tribute" post. =D

I love every single detail about your outfit! The layering, the boots, the jewelry and the belt! The pictures are amazing and can shame any fancy fashion spread!

I can see why you're so fiercely pro-curves - you've got a stunning figure. Congratulations! ;)
And I LOVE that you post such long comments, it makes me feel like I have been able to publish something that inspires serious thoughts and opinions in my readers. It's wonderful. And truth be told, I agree with your stand on runway models (from a designer's point of view - of course they are going to hire models that are NOT going to take the attention away from the clothes, and it would be somewhat unfair of us, the public, to begrudge them that), and curvy women. Being a curvy women, myself, I find it the most aesthetically pleasing shape. But that is my subjective preference, of course...and just between you and me! ;) Haha.

* I died and went to heaven* ... I strive to achieve this upper body strength! Besides the fact that you totally look like a Goddess in these pictures ... the ease and calm with you are taking the poses is just breathtaking. And may I add the diva-ness in your expression reminds me of Sushmita Sen here.

Love that silver belt, btw!

Thank you so so much for your comment, although it was lucky I happened to be going back through stuff and managed to find it... everything you said was so true. I think I'm going to have to start wearing more red from now on if I want to get anywhere in my life this year - from what you've said, anyway.
I learnt taiko in Japan but when I moved house it became too far to go on a Sunday morning so I stopped, and I'm too shy to perform so I haven't picked it up again, but I did enjoy just having a bash every week! By the way you somehow remind me of Safia Minney from People Tree, has anyone ever said that?

You photograph well, dear Lady. Love the nature around you. How soothing is the Green in nature. Those bangles remind me of girls in the Caribbean, India and Brazil. A lovely ethnic element.
And the outfit is perfect on you. I love the splash of colour with the cardigan;-)

No, I am not biased either the cutouts or the cleavage, not both:-)If you look at Deepika in the white/gold sari, she showed lot of stomach but no cleavage..There is a fine line between slutty and sexy:-)

btw, you do research?? how interesting..whats u research area??

Aloha lovelies! Thank you for the lovely comments... it's getting cold in Sydney so your comments and compliments warm me up quite nicely thank you!

@ Crazy Diamond - I'll be sure to take a close-up of the gold frame wayfarers!

@ Romany - of course we'll keep our aesthetic preferences a secret ;)!!! and I love that you post such wonderful points to ponder (and pontificate upon for energizer bunny commenters like me!!!) x

@ Tanvi - Sushmita? hon I wish!!

@ The Sydney Girl - I have been working with colours for a very long time, being Indian we grow up with the knowledge of chakras and how they correspond with the rainbow and what each chakra means, etc. I was always fascinated by this and as a kid I was fascinated by mood rings! This is based on science, which was at that time, my passion. I have read and studied a lot and will continute to study about all this.

Chromatherapy is applicable to all areason industry. Interior designers, architects, make-up artists, graphic designers, etc, etc, all have to understand how colour affects breainwaves.

...re energy...My mother is a tactile healer and reflexologist, many of my close friends are Reiki and/or crystal and/or clairvoyant practitioners, or who are highly attuned to the invisible ribbons that connect us all, I seem to have a knack, so all this is just... 'normal to me.

Prior to waking up one morning and realizing I loathed and therefore could no longer understand the rigidity of Maths, I was heading to be an astronomer. To me, science and spirituality cannot exist without the other.

@ Fourth Daughter - Taiko is RED... :) Taiko harnesses red (passion, power, to unleash blue...and WOW thanks but um...no. I take it you're talking about looks (she looks a bit Indian yes?) because I'm not quite as noble nor as green as Safia!

@ Taj - get some new pics done hon!

@ Amanda - even though my husband was sitting nearby watching the sunset, timing my 'hang' pose and telling passerbys not to worry, his wife is not strange, she's a personal style blogger, I took these pics.

I take my own pics with a tripod mounted point & shoot (a snazzy one but it's still a digicam! Fuji finepix F70)... utilizing the 10 second timer with a 3 or 12 frame burst to capture motion.

I used to have a p&s with a remote but I upgraded and the new p&s cams don't come with remote capability, which is annoying. Will upgrade to an SLR soon but I love the lightweight convenience of a small cam.
...I'm comfortable in front of the camera because I get on really well with my photographer :D and also because I used to model back in the dark ages.

Thank you again lovelies! I really truly appreciate you all taking the time to comment ♥

no, no, I didnt take it personally..I totally understood what u were saying..even if someone wears sari, cleavage and stomach, both wont look good..thats all i meant..I also feel sari's are more sensual than dresses becoz of the draping and peekaboo with the blouse:-)

I too wanted to be an astronomer but couldn't figure out how to become one when growing up in India:-) I am so fascinated by space and beginning of time!! hopefully, my daughter will become one since she is big time into Star Wars!!
