Weekend Wore-ier;

A very quick post... will need to fill in the details and add (lots!) more images later... my Diwali weekend was filled with lots of colour and far too many sweets and never enough of family and friends... also a timber boat show, a Kathak and Flamenco fusion* performance as part of ParraMasala and high tea with my SoS
[NB. all links will open in new window, read them, they're interesting]

Friday was Diwali and would you believe I didn't manage to get any outfit photos?!  Well, not stand alone specifically for the blog ones. Will need to do a post-shoot post....
I hope you are all as well as can be an had a wonderful weekend.  Those of you who celebrate Diwali, do share and tell me/us what you did... those of you didn't celebrate Diwali... please do share how your weekend was too!

* Flamenco 'comes from' Kathak... was brought to southern Spain by Gypsies... Indians who left to explore the world... I was a Kathak dancer for about 10 years during childhood... am now a Flamenco dancer.

************

The 'Duallery' piece mentioned in the previous post... on Saturday I wore it around my boots, on Sunday, on my leg. Jump to see pics... click to see large view... I do take orders, took some over the weekend in fact!

Those red tights look incredible as does that hot little denim mini, wow!!
Diwali fell on the same night as Guy Fawkes so we combined the two with fireworks, a bonfire and lots of homemade South India curries...yummy!!!
Loving your SoS, she's almost as beautiful as you are. xxx

Those pink tights are AMAZING! I need a bright flaming pair just like them! Love the different ways you wore the chains. And had no idea Kathak and Flamenco were related! How interesting. I wish I could dance...!

I don't celebrate Diwali (yet!) but I had an eventful, busy weekend. One of my cousins flew in from Delhi so I've been entertaining her 24/7 and am thoroughly exhausted! Too many late nights and early mornings (unlike you, I can't function unless I've had at *least* 8 hours of sleep, heehee)

Thanks for the hilarious comment about your Kmart purchases... I can't believe you make that amazing chain jewellery, what is the brand name? And when do you find the time!!? It looks fantastic!
Am yet to really start looking for work which is, I suppose, the main reason why I haven't found any yet, but thanks for your ideas. If only it were as easy as it sounds!

I did not know flamenco comes from Katthak. That explains why I have an unyielding desire to learn both. However at this age I do think I am to old to start Katthak, the gurus will probably laugh their head off.

However I do think that the top in the 2nd photo is amazing and I also love your chilli red tights. It can be pretty hard to find one in that exact shade.

Love from Toronto, Canada

Thank you SO MUCH for your wonderful, generous, amazing compliments and comments lovelies!

...and please don't faint at seeing this comment... I know I know... I am a TOTAL slacker when it comes to replying to comments! A part of that stems from feeling a bit shy and humble at receiving your comments. I assure you, each comment makes me glow!
