Mamazon...

Wearing one of my bodychains*... bit of a theme going on this week... I'm all armour and arm-our and gladiator boots and harnesses and grrr power and pink energy and where-are-my-nunchucks? [which by the way, I can totally do.    In my dreams]  and general wannabe-Amazon fierceness  ... which is interesting considering I'm totally crumbling at the realisation that my youngest is no longer a baby. L

*my bodychains... I'm getting quite a few orders!  Have a crazy rush for Christmas! I do a variety, will post the full range soon... and I need your help deciding something...

I went through it with the others but...it's hitting me hard, real hard, this time.  He's 14 and he towers above me now [I am now officially the shortest and I am not short! I have a family of giants!] and when I ask about the movie, that he and his girlfriend went to see, I get;
My child aka 14yo bucket of hormones: "Was okay, didn't really watch it."
Me aka naive idiot: "Huh?  Why? What was wrong?  Did [girlfriend] like it?"
My child aka Child With Naive Idiot For a Parent: "Mum... we didn't watch the movie."

Oh.

That didn't hit as hard as seeing him at his Cadets Stand-In Parade.  I didn't recognise him because I was looking for my little boy and well... he's a young man.  There may have been tears.  It will be worse when he starts driving.  The others had to kick me out of their cars.  ["It's okay Mum, I love you, now get out."]   sigh.  I'm ridiculous.

...I'll be back to continue/finish this... it's late and I'm not funny...but I want to publish this because I'm trying to be a good blogger.... just realised!... I'm pretty much wearing the same thing one week later!
