Photographed a burlesque cabaret ('Bordello Blues') tonight, still have the flu, wearing blue and um, every other hue... how's that for short and pointless?
Just to keep things nice and trivial... I'm really into wearing orange lipstick at the moment...now I don't actually know if it suits me and I suspect it doesn't, but I love its juicy vibrance. All the colours I've been rocking (oh. so humble...) lately are by Flormar, an Italian brand, the Australian franchise is owned by a friend...which is very VERY dangerous! I can't get enough of the products! The orange I'm wearing is the result of a lip pencil shaded in and topped with a lustrous lip gloss.
By the way... I run the Australian Burlesque Calendar on facebook... if burlesque and performance art interests you, then please do go ahead and 'like' the page (link above).
I'm not a burlesque performer but the art intrigues me. I promote it and now I photograph burlesque events. I am well aware that many people confuse burlesque with striptease and I assure you nothing could be further from the truth.
...I will write about this another time.

Orange lipcolour looks good on our skin, but one must find that ideal shade of orange, and as I can see, you already have;-)
I vote Yay! to your orange lipstick - very nice!
Lipstick color is good, but look at your dress....ooooo what color, I could not take my eyes off your dress...awesome !!
I'd like to know more about burlesque. I know that we have a few such events in my area.
I have no concept of what lip colors 'suit' people, but I do know that orange lipstick is everywhere these days! My mum can't get enough of it either - she has about 4 different orange shades.
