Au(some)stralia Day!

"I love a sunburnt country...
A land of sweeping plains...
Of ragged mountain ranges ...
Of droughts and flooding rains."

"I love her far horizons...
I love her jewel sea...
Her beauty and her terror...
The wide brown land for me!"

Hope you had an Awesomestralia Day!  Even if you aren't Australian!!

That is actually only the second verse (and the most well known!) of a very famous poem called
'My Country' by Dorothea Mackellar.
Full poem here.
I love this poem so much... I truly feel it...
I am a child of many cultures and and countries... I pledge allegiance to the world but Australia is my home...

It seems that I'm always leaping and celebrating when I'm wearing this dress!
Have only just realised that the last time I photographed this dress was... here!
